South-east of Phuket on the island of Ko He is where Coral Island Phuket is located. It is a heavenly beach with powdery-white sand and turquoise sea. Banana Island Phuket is just along the coast with an equally picturesque beach.
Coral Island resort is on Ko He and you can actually stay there. A quiet, retreat away from it all except for the day-trippers.

We booked the trip with Andrew from Phuket Travel based in Patong. The cost included transfer from the hotel, the sunset cruise Phuket on a catamaran and dinner. There are many other tours available on Viator to check out here.
The catamaran was a decent size with lots of seats and they didn’t overbook meaning we had lots of space. The transfer will pick you up from your hotel and bring you to Chalong Pier in south Phuket. There are shops close by to get beers, snacks and cold drinks to take with you if you want.
Snorkeling at Coral Island Phuket
The catamaran sails past some typical, idyllic Thai islands over the turquoise sea. Stopping for some snorkeling next to a little bay. The boat had all the equipment to borrow and proper sized life-vests for the kids.
We brought our own kids snorkeling masks as the full-face ones are much easier for the boys to use. Be excited to see lots of colourful fish and coral. Truly spectacular.
Fresh fruit, water and juices waiting for us when we got back on the boat was very welcomed.
Coral Island Phuket
Coral Island is a resort on the island of Ko He. It is like stepping into paradise with white powdery sand and calm, bright blue sea. There are plenty of sunbeds, tables and chairs and a bar serving cold drinks and food.
Take a walk along banana island Phuket and see the beach swings, stairs to nowhere and coconut nests making ideal photo stops. The stop here is for an hour or so to relax and enjoy.
Sunset Cruise Phuket
After the snorkeling and beach stop the boat will cruise back to Phuket. Enjoy a Thai dinner as the sun is going down. Fishing is also on offer which the kids loved. As well as simply relaxing, listening to music and watching the sun go down. The boat sails next to the infamous Promthep Cape at sunset before heading back to the Chalong Pier.
We would highly recommend including a Coral Island Phuket trip during your time in Phuket. We will never forget the simply stunning beach, snorkeling and sunset from that day. A day to remember during our holiday to Phuket.
